Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, has released the results for the Rajasthan PTET 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now view their scorecards on the official website. With the declaration of results, the admission process for B.Ed. Colleges across the state are set to begin. Admissions this year will be granted only for the two-year B.Ed. course. Successful candidates will be allotted colleges through counseling based on merit. The new academic session is likely to commence in July.
**Deputy CM Congratulates Meritorious Candidates**
Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister, Premchand Bairwa, released the PTET 2026 results. Following the announcement, he spoke over the phone with the candidates who secured the first, second, and third positions to convey his best wishes.
**Over One Lakh Candidates Appeared**
The PTET examination was conducted on June 14, 2026. A total of 1,26,600 candidates had registered for the exam, out of which 1,07,575 actually appeared. This examination facilitates admission into the two-year B.Ed. courses at government and private teacher training institutes in Rajasthan.
**Admissions for 1.07 Lakh Seats Across 935 Colleges**
Following the result declaration, the admission process for 935 B.Ed. Colleges in the state will begin. Admissions will be granted for approximately 1,07,040 seats this year. Due to the discontinuation of the four-year integrated B.A.-B.Ed. and B.Sc.-B.Ed. Courses, competition relative to the number of available seats is expected to be lower this time.

Click on the 'PTET Result' link.
Select the option for the two-year B.Ed. course.
Enter your roll number and the required details.
The result will appear on the screen upon logging in.
**Reservation Benefits for Specific Categories**
Candidates from Rajasthan will be eligible for reservation as follows: SC (16%), ST (12%), OBC (21%), MBC (5%), and EWS (10%). Meanwhile, there is a provision for 5% horizontal reservation each for persons with disabilities and dependents of ex-servicemen. All candidates from outside the state will be treated as belonging to the general category.
