The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the results of the written examination for the Sub-Inspector and Platoon Commander recruitment (2025). A total of 232,352 candidates took the exam. Of these, 20,798 candidates have been shortlisted, subject to meeting eligibility criteria, for the Physical Efficiency Test.
**Over 20,000 Candidates Advance to the Next Stage**
The Secretary of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission stated that candidates who appeared for the written exam and secured the minimum qualifying marks—as per service rules—have been selected for the Physical Efficiency Test. However, the Commission clarified that the verification of these candidates' eligibility has not yet taken place; documents and eligibility criteria will be scrutinized at the time of the interview. Consequently, the Commission has advised candidates to personally verify whether they meet all the mandatory conditions stipulated in the recruitment rules. If a candidate is subsequently found ineligible, their selection could be cancelled. A separate notification regarding the date and schedule of the Physical Efficiency Test will be issued later. Candidates will be summoned in due course by the Director General and Inspector General of Police, Rajasthan (Jaipur).
**1,744 Candidates Disqualified; Results Withheld for Three**
Carelessness in filling out OMR sheets proved costly for many candidates in this recruitment exam. According to the Commission, 1,744 candidates have been declared ineligible. This occurred because they failed to mark any of the five available options for more than 10 percent of the questions in their OMR answer sheets. The Commission has separately released the roll numbers of all such candidates on its website. Additionally, the results of three candidates have been withheld for the time being; the Commission has kept their results in sealed covers. The SI recruitment exam has been one of the most high-profile recruitment drives in the state. Now that the written examination phase is complete, the selection process will move on to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Thousands of candidates are now awaiting the schedule and dates for the PET.
