Rajasthan Patwari Exam 2025: The written examination for Patwari recruitment was completed in Rajasthan on Sunday (17 August). About 6.5 lakh candidates had applied in this exam. 1035 examination centers were set up in 38 districts of the entire state for the examination. Most of the centers were in the capital, Jaipur. The exam was conducted in two shifts and was completed under tight surveillance. But meanwhile the dream of many students remained unfulfilled even before the exam, know why?
Strictness to prevent cheating
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board took strict measures to prevent any kind of cheating in the examination. Biometric attendance and face scanning arrangements were made at all the examination centers. Female candidates were already advised not to apply mehendi on their hands, as it causes problems in biometrics. At many centers, candidates had to remove even their shoes and slippers outside.
Gates closed on time, candidates missed the opportunity
Long queues were seen outside the examination centers since morning. But, the gates were closed on time. According to the rules, entry was not given even if there was a delay of one minute. Many candidates could not go inside even after reaching the gate. In Rajsamand district, a handicapped youth was also not allowed entry due to the gate being closed at 8 o'clock. Many candidates expressed their displeasure over this strictness and said that despite working hard, the opportunity was snatched away.
Chaos at some centers
Complaints of chaos also came from some examination centers. At some places the seating facility was not good, at some places there was a shortage of water and other facilities. Many candidates said that better arrangements could have been made for such a big exam. The board said that all complaints will be taken seriously and improvements will be made.
Free bus service from the government
For the convenience of the candidates, the Rajasthan government provided free travel facility in roadways buses from 15 to 19 August. Candidates had to show only the admit card to go and return to the examination center. This decision brought relief to many candidates.
