The much-awaited results of the Pre-DElEd Examination 2026, conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, have been declared. The state's Education and Panchayati Raj Minister, Madan Dilawar, officially released the results from the university campus in Kota. Setting a precedent, the university accomplished this feat in record time, releasing the results just 20 days after the examination.
Female candidates have once again excelled in this year's merit list. Muskan Chaudhary from Sri Ganganagar secured the top position across Rajasthan, scoring 552.60 out of 600 marks. Meanwhile, Chanchal Vaishnav from Ajmer secured the second spot, and Trilok Bairagi from Bhilwara claimed the third position, bringing honor to his district. The success of these toppers has sparked celebrations among their families and educational institutions.
**Over 5 Lakh Candidates Appeared for the Exam**
This examination was crucial for young aspirants seeking a career in elementary education. A total of 6,05,242 candidates applied for the Pre-DElEd exam this year, with 4,97,178 candidates actually appearing for the test. Despite the large number of candidates, the university administration completed the evaluation of answer sheets and the preparation of results in a remarkably short time.
**Exam Successfully Conducted Using AI and High-Tech Monitoring**
This examination was historic in many respects. The university administration implemented stringent security measures to ensure the process was completely transparent and free from malpractice. The exam was held on May 20 across 1,774 centers established in 41 districts of the state. For the first time, AI-based surveillance, a high-tech state command center, and live CCTV monitoring were utilized. Thanks to the proactive measures taken under the zero-tolerance policy, no complaints regarding any form of paper leak were reported.
**The Way Forward for Successful Candidates**
Following the declaration of results, the counseling process for successful candidates will commence shortly. Candidates will be granted admission to the D.El.Ed. Courses at various teacher training colleges across Rajasthan based on merit and counseling. Education Minister Madan Dilawar has congratulated the university administration on the successful, transparent, and prompt conduct of the examination and extended his best wishes for the bright future of all successful students.
