Rajasthan BSTC Counselling 2026: There is important news for candidates preparing to become teachers in Rajasthan. Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, has initiated the Rajasthan Pre-D.El.Ed. counselling process. Along with this, the university has released the complete counselling schedule for admission to the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course.

The counselling process began on June 11, 2026, and candidates can complete online registration and fill in their college choices until June 16, 2026. This year, admissions will be granted for approximately 25,970 seats across various D.El.Ed. Colleges in Rajasthan.

Who can participate in the counselling?
All candidates who qualified in the examination are required to participate in the counselling process. To do so, candidates must visit the official portal and log in using their counselling ID, roll number, mother's name, and date of birth.

Seat allotment will be made only to those candidates who complete the counselling process and fill in their college choices within the stipulated timeframe.

₹3,000 to be deposited first
Before filling in college choices, candidates must deposit a counselling registration fee of ₹3,000. College preferences can be submitted only after the fee has been paid. According to the university, seat allotment will be based on the candidate's exam merit, reservation category, and the choices filled during counselling.

First seat allotment list to be released on June 20
The first phase seat allotment list will be released on June 20, 2026. Candidates allotted a seat must deposit an admission fee of ₹13,555 between June 20 and June 27, 2026.

Subsequently, candidates must complete the processes of reporting to the respective institute, document verification, and online certification. This process will continue until June 29, 2026. Candidates will also be able to download their provisional admission slips during this period.

Classes to commence on July 1
According to the schedule released by the university, classes for the D.El.Ed. course will begin on July 1, 2026. Opportunity for Upward Movement
Candidates who secured a seat in the first phase can apply for 'upward movement' if they wish to seek admission to a better college or an institution of higher preference.

Opportunity in Second and Third Rounds
Candidates who do not secure a seat in the first round will automatically be included in the subsequent rounds.

Second Round: The second seat allotment list will be released on July 13, 2026. Selected candidates must deposit the fees between July 14 and July 19 and report to the respective institute by July 20.

Third Round: The seat allotment list for the third round will be released on July 22, 2026. Selected candidates are required to deposit the admission fee from July 22 to July 27 and complete the document verification and reporting process by July 28.
