Punjab TET 2024: The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) has released the notification for Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2024. For this, registration has to be done by visiting the official website pstet.pseb.ac.in. The last date to apply is 4 November 2024. After this, corrections in the application form can be done from 5 to 8 November. According to the notification, Punjab TET 2024 exam will be conducted on 1 December.
Punjab TET Paper-1 and Paper-2 exam is conducted for the eligibility to become a teacher of classes 1 to 8 in the state. Punjab State Council of Educational Research and Training released the notification of PSTET on 16 October. PSTET 2024: Eligibility for Punjab TET
To appear in Punjab TET Paper-1, applicants must have passed class 12th with at least 45% marks. Along with this, one must have done a two-year DEd course. Whereas for Paper-2, one must have done DEd and graduation. Talking about the age limit, there is no limit. Anyone above 18 years of age can apply.
PSTET 2024: Pattern of Punjab TET Exam
Punjab TET Paper-1: 150 questions of 150 marks will be asked in TET Paper-1. There will be a total of five sections. Each section will have 30 questions for 30 marks. These sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Language (Punjabi), and Language (English). The exam will be of 150 minutes.
Punjab TET Paper-2: TET Paper-2 will also have 150 questions of 150 marks. In this, 30 questions of 30 marks will be asked in the Child Development and Pedagogy and Language (Punjabi) and (Language English) sections. While 60 questions of 60 marks will be related to the subject. This paper will also be of 150 minutes.
