Parents demand - school holidays should be extended
Due to this severe cold, parents are demanding an extension of school holidays on social media. By tagging Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Twitter, parents have appealed that the winter holidays be extended further for the safety of children.
The Punjab government has not yet issued any new notification on this subject, but the administration is reviewing the situation. Parents hope that keeping in mind the cold and fog, the government will soon take a decision to extend the holidays.
Holiday till January 14 in many districts of UP
Due to severe cold and cold wave in Uttar Pradesh, school holidays in many districts have been extended till January 14. In view of the severe weather conditions, the administration has taken this decision so that children can be protected from cold. In many districts including Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Varanasi, the District Magistrate has ordered to keep the schools closed.
