The Punjab Board will conduct the 10th and 12th board examinations in February-March 2027; affiliated institutions can access full details and instructions regarding the exams via their login IDs.

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the schedule for the 2027 Class 10 and 12 board examinations. For now, the Board has announced the deadlines for regular students to fill out exam forms and deposit fees. The exams are scheduled for February-March 2027, and relevant institutions can view all exam-related information and instructions through their login IDs. The Board has directed that all formalities regarding exam forms and fees be completed within the stipulated timeframe, as delays will incur late fees.

PSEB has set specific deadlines for submitting exam forms. The last date to submit online forms and fees without a late fee is October 23, 2026. Applications can be submitted after this date, but students will be required to pay an additional fee. Forms can be submitted with a late fee of ₹500 until October 31, ₹1,000 until November 10, and ₹1,500 until November 18. In the final phase, the facility to submit online forms and fees with a late fee of ₹2,000 will be available until November 26, 2026. The Board has also set separate deadlines for generating challans and depositing fees in the bank; schools must complete the entire process in accordance with these scheduled dates.

What are the exam fees for Classes 10 and 12?

The PSEB has fixed the examination fee at ₹2,000 for Class 10 students and ₹2,450 for Class 12 students for the 2027 board examinations. If a student opts for an additional subject, they will be required to pay an extra ₹550 per subject. According to the board, the prescribed examination fee includes charges associated with both hard copies and digitized soft copies.

Schools to Bear Full Responsibility

The board has entrusted the responsibility of completing the examination form and fee submission process to the respective schools and educational institutions. School heads must ensure that the forms of eligible students are filled out correctly and that fees are deposited within the stipulated timeframe. School heads will be held accountable for any delays or failure to complete the process. Action may be taken against affiliated or recognized institutions that fail to comply with the board’s directives, in accordance with applicable rules and affiliation regulations.

Action Against Government Schools Too

The board has outlined a separate procedure for government schools. If a government school fails to complete the necessary examination-related formalities within the deadline, the matter will be reported to the Director of the concerned Primary or Secondary Education Department. Subsequently, action may be taken against the concerned principal or head teacher in accordance with applicable rules.
