Preparations to launch the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program at Jamia Millia Islamia are proceeding at a rapid pace. Preliminary approval has already been received from the Union Ministry of Health. Plans are in place to offer the MDS program across nine distinct specializations within Jamia's Faculty of Dentistry. Delhi University, too, has taken a major stride in the realm of medical education. Approval has been granted to introduce new super-specialty courses at medical colleges affiliated with the university. This will provide students with a wider range of options for pursuing advanced-level studies.
