The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released the Pre-DV results for four National Health Mission (NHM) recruitments. In one of these four recruitments, despite sufficient applications for the position, no candidate qualified. The situation is similar in two of the remaining three recruitments. For example, not enough candidates qualified for the position. The RPSB Chairman has raised questions about this.

Let's find out what a Pre-DV result is. For which NHM posts are the results in this state? We'll also learn what questions the RPSB Chairman has raised.

What is a Pre-DV Result?
For any recruitment, an application process is first conducted. Following this, written examinations and other examinations are conducted. The final result is released based on merit. The Pre-DV result is released after the written examinations and other examinations for a recruitment, before document verification. It is issued based on the marks obtained in other examinations, including the written exam. However, the final result is issued after document verification based on the Pre-DV result.

NHM Recruitment Pre-DV Result
The Pre-DV results for four NHM recruitments have been released. 54 candidates appeared for the exam for 48 biomedical engineer positions, but none qualified. Similarly, 708 candidates appeared for the exam for 633 rehab worker positions, but only 39 qualified in the Pre-DV result. 65 candidates appeared for the 70 audiologist positions, but only 15 qualified. Only for the Senior Counselor position, more candidates qualified than the number of positions.

RSSB Chairman raises questions
RSSB Chairman Alok Raj has raised questions about this. He posted on X in this regard. In it, he asked what the reason was for so few candidates qualifying. Were there out-of-syllabus questions? But there were negligible objections.

RAS Main 2024 also saw the highest cutoff of 26%. Falling cutoffs in Rajasthan recruitment remain a concern. Just yesterday, the RPSC released the results of the Rajasthan Administration Service (RAS) Main Exam 2024. The highest cutoff was 26%. Successful candidates will now participate in the further selection process, i.e., interviews, and these candidates will be appointed to other state administrative positions, including SDM.

40% Marks Mandatory in Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam
Previously, candidates scoring 10% in the written exam for Assistant Professors in Rajasthan have been selected. In light of this, the rules were changed in July, under which candidates scoring less than 40% in the written exam for Assistant Professor recruitment in Rajasthan will be disqualified.
