After a few hours of long interrogation, they were released, and the next day Latur Police registered a case against 4 people by registering an FIR in the NEET 2024 paper leak case. Police made two arrests in this case, including Sanjay Jadhav and Zilla Parishad School headmaster Jalil Pathan. At present, both are in police custody till July 2.

At the same time, two of the accused named in the FIR are still absconding, the names of the absconding accused are Gangadhar and Iranna Mashnaji Kongalvav. Apart from this, after the arrest, Jalil has been removed from the post of headmaster. A new headmaster has been appointed in the school.

Used to charge up to 5 lakh rupees

In its initial investigation, the police found out that the accused in this case used to charge 50 thousand rupees in advance from the parents and after the work was done, they used to charge two to five lakh rupees. The phones of the arrested accused were sent for forensic investigation and the police have also recorded the statements of many parents in this case. According to the information received, Latur Police has so far found about 14 admit cards, some of which have centers in Bihar, which means that children from Maharashtra were taking exams in Bihar.

It is worth noting that Latur Police has so far found 14 admit cards from the accused. Some of these admit cards are from Bihar. This means that the student is a resident of Maharashtra and his exam center is Bihar. Police are also investigating the remaining admit cards. Sources also said that Latur police have also contacted Bihar police in this regard. So far, statements of 14 people have been recorded in this case.
