Path cleared for RPSC SI re-exam; correction window opens on July 8 following High Court order—3 essential steps to take..
RPSC SI Re-Exam Update 2026: There is a major update regarding the re-examination for the SI recruitment scheduled by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on September 20, 2026. The Commission has granted provisional permission to appear for the exam to all candidates who had originally applied during the 2021 recruitment drive. Candidates wishing to take the re-exam have been given the window from July 8, 2026, to July 22, 2026, to update the necessary details in their application forms. Candidates who have already updated their applications following the press note issued on May 8, 2026, do not need to make further amendments.
After making amendments, it is mandatory to accept the self-declaration displayed on the screen and verify the process via OTP; otherwise, the application will not be accepted. The candidate bears sole responsibility for this. Detailed information and guidelines are available on the Commission's website.
**KYC Process Must Be Completed**
Before making amendments, candidates must complete the KYC process within their One-Time Registration (OTR), which involves uploading a live photo, thumb impression, and signature. Candidates can log in using their SSO ID and navigate to the 'My Recruitment' section to modify their applications. If a candidate's OTR has been migrated from an old ID to a new one, they can use the 'Fetch Application Form' option.
**What to Do in Case of Technical Issues**
If a candidate encounters technical difficulties while transferring their application form to a new SSO ID or OTR, they can register a complaint on the Commission's 'Candidate Grievance Portal' by July 15, 2026.
It should be noted that the eligibility criteria for the recruitment remain in accordance with the original advertisement dated February 3, 2021, and the corrigendum dated June 7, 2021, while the examination syllabus remains as per the press note issued on May 22, 2026. Candidates will only be able to modify their mobile number, email ID, correspondence address, live photo, thumb impression, and signature. Core details such as age, educational qualifications, and reservation status will remain unchanged.
To assist candidates in this regard, the Commission has made a list available on its website containing the application ID, name, father's name, last four digits of the mobile number, home state, home district, and SSO-ID of those who applied for the original SI Recruitment Examination-2021.
The Commission's Secretary stated that this opportunity is being provided to candidates in compliance with the interim order dated July 2, 2026, passed by the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur. Under this order, all candidates who had previously submitted online applications for the SI Recruitment-2021 are being provisionally included.
**Please Note: Failure to Comply Will Result in Application Cancellation**
Candidates wishing to appear in the re-conducted examination must provide consent to use the photo, signature, and thumb impression from their OTR (One Time Registration) profile in their online application. They must then perform a final submission and verify the application using the OTP received on their registered mobile number; applications from candidates who do not complete this process will not be accepted.
