Those students who pass class 12th from government or private schools in rural areas get 5 percent weightage of the total marks.
At the same time, students selected in the National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) are given weightage of 10 percent marks on the basis of their performance.
Students who participate in sports during their studies also get 2 to 5 percent weightage in the gradation card prepared by the District Sports Department.
