If you have completed the 10th grade and dream of securing a government job at the Supreme Court—the nation’s highest court—there is great news for you. The Supreme Court of India has issued an official notification for the recruitment of Junior Court Attendants. This is a golden opportunity for young individuals who wish to begin their careers in a prestigious government institution, even with a modest level of formal education. A total of 130 positions are to be filled through this recruitment drive.

Important Application Dates and Positions

According to the official advertisement released by the Supreme Court, this recruitment is for 130 tentative positions for the post of Junior Court Attendant (Group-C, Non-Clerical). This is an excellent opportunity for those preparing for government jobs, as the online application process is set to begin on November 4, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates will have until 11:55 PM on November 25, 2026, to submit their applications. No applications will be accepted after this deadline; therefore, candidates are advised to submit their forms well in advance rather than waiting until the final date.

What Are the Required Educational Qualifications and Age Limits?

The best aspect of this recruitment is that it does not require a high level of formal education. Candidates who have passed at least the 10th grade (and up to the 12th grade) from any recognized board or institution in the country are fully eligible for this position. Regarding the age limit, the age of the candidates will be calculated as of October 1, 2026. As of this date, applicants must be at least 18 years old and no older than 27. However, in accordance with government regulations, candidates from reserved categories—specifically 3 years for the OBC category and 5 years for SC/ST candidates—will be granted age relaxations.

How will the selection take place?

To secure this position at the Supreme Court, candidates must undergo a prescribed selection process. First, applicants will be required to take an objective-type written examination, which is tentatively scheduled for December 26, 2026. Those who qualify in this written examination will be invited for an interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate's performance in both the written examination and the interview. Interested candidates can submit their application forms online by visiting the official Supreme Court website, starting from November 4.
