What stipend will PhD students receive?
The government has announced a monthly stipend of ₹10,000 for PG students in agriculture and allied fields for a period of two years. Meanwhile, PhD research scholars will receive financial assistance of ₹15,000 per month for three years.

Singh Deo stated that the primary objective of this support is to promote high-quality research and encourage promising students from Odisha. He said, "Investing in our young researchers means securing the future of Odisha's farmers.
