What stipend will PhD students receive?
The government has announced a monthly stipend of ₹10,000 for PG students in agriculture and allied fields for a period of two years. Meanwhile, PhD research scholars will receive financial assistance of ₹15,000 per month for three years.
Singh Deo stated that the primary objective of this support is to promote high-quality research and encourage promising students from Odisha. He said, "Investing in our young researchers means securing the future of Odisha's farmers. With this support, our students will be able to focus on new innovations and research without financial worries."
