The institute's four-week 'Applied AI Professional Certification Program' will run from October 24 to November 14, 2026. Conducted in a hybrid mode, the course offers training that goes beyond mere theory, equipping participants with the skills to build, operate, and manage AI systems in real-world scenarios. The curriculum covers essential topics such as AI agents, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), multi-agent systems, and AI system evaluation.

**A Four-Week Program**
This program by IIT Hyderabad is specifically designed for individuals who wish to understand the practical applications of AI. According to the institute, there is a growing demand for professionals capable of developing reliable and effective AI systems to meet actual business needs. With this in mind, the curriculum places a strong emphasis on practical training.

**Training Across Four Key Modules**
The course comprises four major modules. The first module introduces the fundamentals of Reliable AI Agents, covering topics such as model selection, tool calling, structured output, retry logic, and recovery mechanisms. The second module focuses on Knowledge, Memory, and Production (RAG), teaching concepts like document chunking, semantic search, long-term memory, re-ranking, and protection against prompt injection.

The third module covers Graph-Based Multi-Agent Systems, providing practical training on multi-agent systems, orchestration, checkpoints, and MCP (Model Context Protocol).

The fourth module focuses on Evaluation, Observability, and Launch, guiding participants through the processes of testing AI systems and deploying them into production.

**Training by IIT Faculty and Industry Experts**
Training will be delivered by a combination of IIT Hyderabad faculty members and industry experts. To complete the course, participants must submit the source code and assessment-related materials. Additionally, they are required to demonstrate a functional, production-style AI agent application.

Early-bird registration has opened with limited seats available. The fee for the first 20 applicants is set at ₹45,000 (inclusive of tax). Candidates registering thereafter will be required to pay ₹50,000 (inclusive of tax).
