NTET 2026: National Teacher Eligibility Test Answer Key Released; Submit Objections by May 3; Here is the Applicable Fee..
NTET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key and recorded responses for the National Teacher Eligibility Test (NTET) 2026. This examination was conducted nationwide on April 28, 2026, in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can now view their answer keys via the official portal and, if dissatisfied with any specific answer, may also register an objection against it.
**Challenges Accepted Until May 3**
According to a public notice issued by the NTA, the answer key challenge window opened on May 1, 2026. Candidates may register their objections until 11:50 PM on May 3, 2026. A fee of ₹200 has been prescribed for registering an objection against each question; this fee is non-refundable. Payments will be accepted exclusively via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
**Points to Keep in Mind While Registering Objections**
To challenge the answer key, candidates must first visit the official NTET website and log in. This requires the candidate's Application Number and Password. Upon logging in, candidates can view the Question IDs and the answer options provided by the NTA. While registering an objection, candidates must select the relevant question, choose the correct option, and upload the necessary supporting documents—compiled into a single PDF file—to substantiate their claim.
The NTA has clarified that all objections will be scrutinized by subject experts. If an objection is found to be valid, the answer key will be revised, and the benefit of this revision will be extended to all candidates who attempted that specific question. However, the agency will not individually notify any candidate regarding whether their specific objection has been accepted or rejected.
The final answer key will be released following the experts' review, and the NTET 2026 results will be prepared based on this final key. Once the final answer key has been released, no further claims or objections of any kind will be entertained.
