NTA SWAYAM January 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination schedule for the Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January 2026 semester. NTA SWAYAM January 2026 Exam Dates: SWAYAM January 2026 Examination Schedule
According to the official notice, the SWAYAM January 2026 semester examinations will be conducted on June 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2026. The NTA has also announced buffer dates of June 22 and 23, 2026. These dates may be used if needed due to technical or administrative reasons.
The examination will be conducted in two shifts each day.
The first shift will run from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The second shift will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The medium of the question paper will be English only. However, language papers will be conducted in the respective languages. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the MCQ section. This will provide relief to the candidates appearing for the examination.
SWAYAM is a national-level online education initiative supported by the Government of India. These examinations will be conducted for 648 courses. The examination will be conducted in a hybrid mode, which includes Computer-Based Tests (CBT) and pen and paper tests. The mode of examination for each course will be specified in the course-specific details.
