According to the information released by the National Testing Agency, the SWAYAM January 2026 semester examinations will be held on June 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2026. June 22 and 23, 2026, have been kept as buffer dates to be used in case the examination is affected due to any technical or other reasons.
Exam Timings

Certificate
SWAYAM courses are completely free for students, but registration for the final proctored examination is mandatory to obtain a certificate. A prescribed fee has to be paid for this, and the examination has to be taken at a designated examination center. Exam Pattern
This certificate is also valid for credit transfer in universities and colleges that recognize SWAYAM courses. All questions in the examination will be multiple-choice questions, and there will be no negative marking in any subject. The question paper for general subjects will be in English only, while the papers for language subjects will be in the respective language.
