Selection process and training

How to become an NSG commando
First of all, you have to serve as an officer, soldier, or in any other position in the Indian Army, Air Force, or Navy. CRPF personnel can also join this process. When you become a part of the armed forces, a vacancy is released by the selection authority for the posts of NSG commandos. After this, there are different rounds, in which it is necessary to get success.
First of all, the service report and physical and medical fitness of the candidate is checked. After this, the shortlisted candidates have to undergo interviews and various tests. Successful candidates are also sent outside the country for advanced training, where they are trained in special combat skills.
Salary and facilities
According to reports, NSG commandos get a stipend of Rs 18,000 per month during training. After training, their salary ranges from Rs 40,000 to Rs 85,000 per month. Along with this, commandos also get many other allowances and facilities. These include travel allowance, dearness allowance, free ration and canteen facility, government quarters, free education and medical facilities, pension allowance, etc.
