NTA: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the schedule for the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) examination for candidates of the April-May 2026 semester. The examination will be conducted in an online remote-proctored mode on July 31, August 1, August 7, and August 8, 2026.
What is the objective of the NITTT examination?
The objective of the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) examination is to provide in-service training to newly appointed teachers in AICTE-recognized institutions. This training aims to enhance teachers' pedagogical skills, professional competence, and classroom teaching proficiency.
How is performance evaluated?
Teachers are evaluated under the NITTT based on regular assignments and a final online remote-proctored examination. Teachers are required to successfully complete all modules and examinations within three years of their appointment. NITTT 2026: Essential Guidelines for the Examination
Candidates can download their admit cards from nittt.nta.ac.in.
To download the admit card, the registration number and date of birth must be entered.
The question paper will be in English only, and the examination will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
It is mandatory to carry the admit card and a valid photo identity card during the examination.
Candidates will not be permitted to appear for the exam without these documents.
Candidates may keep a transparent water bottle with them.
Human proctors will monitor the candidates' activities and screens during the examination.
If suspicious activity is observed, the proctor may ask the candidate via chat to rotate the webcam or laptop to show the surrounding area.
Candidates will be warned via chat if they violate any rules.
Failure to follow instructions despite repeated warnings may lead to the cancellation of the examination.
It is essential to keep an eye on the chat window during the exam to receive instructions from the proctor in a timely manner. Candidates will not be allowed to keep any paper or sheet for rough work.
