NIOS: NIOS announces schedule for Class 10-12 public exams; exams to be held in October-November..

NIOS Public Datesheet 2025: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the datesheet for the Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) public examinations in 2025. According to the institute, the theory exams will be held from October 14, 2025, at selected examination centers in India and abroad.

NIOS has clarified that this datesheet will be permanent and will not be changed later. The theory exams for Class 10 and 12 will conclude on November 18, 2025. Students are required to pay the examination fee to appear for the exams.

Practical Exams
NIOS previously announced that practical exams for Class 10 and 12 will be held between September 12 and 27, 2025.

Hall Tickets and Results
Hall tickets for registered students will be available through the student login on the official website, sdmis.nios.ac.in. The results of the theory exams will be declared seven weeks after the last exam date. NIOS has stated that no inquiries regarding the actual result date will be entertained. The results will be available on the website immediately.

Certificates and Marksheets
Students who pass both the theory and practical exams will be issued a marksheet-cum-certificate and a migration-cum-transfer certificate. If exam centers are cancelled, these certificates will be sent by post to the students' permanent addresses.
