This internship is scheduled to be held from May 4 to July 5, 2026, and covers a wide range of technical and non-technical disciplines. Technical fields include Civil Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence. Monthly Stipend of ₹20,000
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work at the NHAI Headquarters and its Regional Offices, where they will operate under the guidance of experienced professionals. This will provide them with a unique opportunity to gain an up-close understanding of the operational dynamics of India's infrastructure sector. During the internship, candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹20,000.

Who Can Apply?
Undergraduate and postgraduate students currently enrolled in NIRF-ranked colleges, reputed law universities, top-tier management institutes, and mass communication institutions are eligible to apply for this internship. The primary objective of this initiative is to provide students from diverse academic backgrounds with opportunities for learning and gaining practical work experience.

This program was initially launched in December 2025 and received an encouraging response. Approximately 244 Civil Engineering students completed a one-month internship, while 149 students participated in a six-month internship program spanning from January to June 2026. Building upon this success, the Summer Internship program has now been further expanded to ensure that a greater number of students have the opportunity to participate.
