IIT Delhi has launched the second batch of its executive program focused on semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and deep-tech entrepreneurship. This six-month online program will provide participants with insights into semiconductor and photonics technologies, as well as AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC). Additionally, the course will cover topics such as commercialization, intellectual property, funding, and startup scaling. **Program Duration**
Launched under IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP), this executive program will be conducted online. It is scheduled to commence on January 9, 2027, and conclude on June 12, 2027, comprising a total of 80 hours of live online learning. Candidates holding a bachelor's degree in any discipline are eligible to apply.

**Focus Areas**
The program places significant emphasis on semiconductors, AI, and deep-tech entrepreneurship. It also covers photonics—a field that explores the use of light technology for communication and computing. Participants will gain knowledge about semiconductor and photonic device technologies and their professional applications.

**Six Key Modules**
The course comprises six major modules: fundamentals of semiconductors and photonics for deep-tech; advanced semiconductor and electronic devices; photonic devices for AI; deep-tech entrepreneurship in semiconductors; industry interaction; and case studies. Furthermore, the program will provide insights into pitching and fundraising for deep-tech startups.

Fees, Application, and Certificates
The total fee for this program is ₹1,50,000, plus 18% GST. Candidates have the option to pay the fee in installments. 

The deadline for applications is September 30, 2026. Candidates who achieve a minimum attendance of 40% will receive a Certificate of Participation. Meanwhile, those who meet the 40% attendance requirement and secure a minimum of 50% marks will be awarded a Certificate of Success. These certificates will be issued digitally by IIT Delhi's CEP.
