NEET UG: If a female student has low scores in the medical entrance exam NEET UG 2024, then there is an opportunity for her to do BSc Nursing from the prestigious institute of the Indian Army, Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS). This course is for four years. The application process for admission to BSc Nursing has started. The last date for application is 7 August. The application has to be done by visiting the Indian Army website https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/.

Based on the NEET UG score, admission will be given to BSc Nursing courses in six institutes of the Army. There are 220 seats for this course. These institutes are in Pune, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Lucknow.

Admission process for BSc Nursing in AFMS
Admission to BSc Nursing in AFMS will be based on NEET UG 2024 score, computer-based test of general intelligence, general English, psychological assessment, and performance in interview.

Who can apply for BSc Nursing?
Only unmarried/divorced/legally separated/widowed can apply for the BASc Nursing course. Candidates should be between 1 October 19999 and 20 September 2007. Talking about educational qualification, one should have passed the 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects in regular mode with aggregate 50% marks. Apart from this, it is also necessary to pass NEET UG.

NEET UG score for BSc Nursing
Admission to AFMS's BSc Nursing course is based on a low NEET UG score. According to the report, the minimum NEET UG score for BSc Nursing is 50 percentile for unreserved, 40 percentile for OBC, 40 for SC/ST, 45 percentile for unreserved Divyang, and 40 percentile for Divyang of all other categories.

Accommodation, and food are free, stipend will also be given
During the B.Sc Nursing course in AFMS, free ration, and free accommodation are provided. Along with this, a uniform allowance, and monthly stipend are also given. After completion of the course, a permanent/short service commission will be given in the Military Nursing Service. Meaning, the job is confirmed after completing the course.
