NEET UG Round 2: Will there be any changes to the Round 2 allotment results? MCC clarifies position; issues new notice..

NEET UG Counseling Round 2: The Medical Counseling Committee issued a notice at around 4:30 pm today. In this notice, the MCC reported discrepancies in the seat allocation results for the second round of counseling and announced the postponement of the results. It's worth noting that the seat allocation results were released at 11:40 am today. In this sequence, the MCC has now issued another notice.
What's in the latest notice?
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) issued an important notice late Thursday evening, clarifying that the final seat allocation results for the second round of counseling will not be withdrawn. The MCC stated that the results announced on September 18, 2025, at 11:40 am will remain unchanged, and the reporting process will proceed as scheduled.
The notice from MCC stated, "In continuation of the previous notice issued on 18.09.2025 at 4:30 PM, it is clarified that there is no change in the result declared on 18.09.2025 at 11:40 AM. Candidates are advised to download their allotment letter and report by the scheduled time."
Another Notice Issued During the Day
Earlier in the day, MCC issued a notice temporarily withdrawing the final result of Round 2. The reason stated was that a government medical college had mistakenly registered twice the number of available seats. This resulted in many non-existent seats being allotted to candidates. Due to this error, the result was ordered revised, and the reporting process was halted.
However, MCC has now issued a new notice clarifying that there will be no change in the final result. Candidates are advised to complete the reporting process without any hesitation.
