The NTA is preparing to release the exam city slips before June 14 and the NEET UG re-exam admit cards by June 16. Among the 22.79 lakh candidates, the highest number of aspirants are from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the NTA has also issued a major update regarding the CUET UG exam. Rescheduling the exam by two days for the remaining 60,000 candidates, the NTA has finalized new shifts and made their admit cards available on the official website.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is personally conducting regular review meetings to ensure the NEET UG re-exam is conducted transparently and smoothly. This time, the NTA has prioritized candidate convenience. Considering the approximately 3.5 lakh applications for changing exam cities, the number of centers has been adjusted in several locations. Officials state that if a candidate selects Dehradun as their first choice, they will be allotted a center there. In the event of overcrowding, an option for a nearby city (such as Roorkee) will be provided, ensuring that students face no undue inconvenience.

The NTA has set a deadline for the 22.79 lakh candidates participating in the NEET re-examination. All candidates will be informed of their exam city before June 14, allowing them to make travel reservations or other necessary preparations in advance. Following this, the NEET-UG admit cards will be released by June 16, containing precise details regarding the exam center and timings. This year, the highest number of exam centers has been set up in Uttar Pradesh, as the state has received a record-breaking number of applications.

The NTA is fully alert regarding the various claims and rumors circulating on social media concerning the NEET exam. A senior agency official clarified that every piece of content appearing online is being closely scrutinized. Additionally, strict security and transparency measures are being implemented based on feedback from candidates, parents, and teachers to ensure the exam is completely foolproof this time.

CUET-UG: Exam dates extended by two days; new shifts scheduled and admit cards released

Alongside NEET, the NTA has also clarified the status of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). The schedule for the 60,000 students whose exams were pending has been extended by two days. The timing was adjusted after several students requested a change, citing other exams scheduled for June 7.

According to the new announcement:
Exam for June 6: Will be held in the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Exam for June 7: Will be conducted in the afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The NTA has released the admit cards for these remaining CUET students, which candidates can download immediately.
