The National Testing Agency's NEET UG 2026 re-exam will be conducted in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, alongside the exam in India. The Embassy of India in Riyadh has issued an official press release detailing the schedule, exam center, and necessary regulations for the NEET UG exam.
The NEET UG exam will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in pen-and-paper mode. A dedicated exam center has been set up in Riyadh for NEET UG 2026, featuring strict security and verification measures. If you are appearing for the NEET UG re-examination, ensure you fully understand the guidelines regarding entry timings, dress code, and required documents to avoid last-minute hassles; failure to do so could lead to difficulties at the exam center.
When and where will the NEET UG exam take place in Riyadh?
The Boys' Section of the International Indian School Riyadh (IISR) has been designated as the exam center for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam in Riyadh. The school is located at Al Hasan Ibn Ali Street, Exit 24, Rawdah. The exam will be conducted from 11:30 AM to 2:45 PM (Saudi Arabia Time/KSA Time).
No entry if late
The main gate of the NEET UG exam center will open for candidate entry at 8:30 AM. In accordance with the guidelines issued by the Indian Embassy and the school administration, candidates are advised to report to the center before 10:30 AM to complete document verification and frisking procedures on time. The exam center gate will close at 11:00 AM, and no candidate will be permitted to enter after that time.
What to carry to the NEET UG exam center?
Candidates must mandatorily carry several essential documents for entry into the NEET UG examination hall:
Original Admit Card: A passport-sized photograph must be affixed to the first page, and a postcard-sized (4″×6″) color photograph to the second page.
Extra Photograph: Carry an additional passport-sized photograph to be affixed to the attendance sheet.
Government ID Proof: It is mandatory to carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India (such as a passport or Aadhaar card).
What not to carry to the NEET UG exam center?
To maintain the integrity of the examination, carrying any kind of stationery (e.g., scraps of paper, geometry/pencil boxes, plastic pouches, calculators, scales, writing pads, pens, erasers, or log tables) inside the center is prohibited. Items such as mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, smartwatches/wristwatches, health bands, wallets, handbags, belts, caps, and ATM cards are also strictly banned. Candidates will undergo security checks using hand-held metal detectors.
NEET UG Dress Code 2026
Candidates are advised to wear simple, lightweight clothing. Clothes should not feature large buttons or heavy designs. Regarding footwear, high heels, fancy shoes, or sandals with thick soles are not permitted. Only candidates will be allowed entry into the exam center; parents or guardians will not be permitted inside. The administration has clarified that the center will not be held responsible for the loss or theft of candidates' belongings; therefore, candidates are advised to leave valuables at home.
