NEET UG Counselling Round 2 Schedule 2026 Released: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for the second round of NEET UG Counselling 2026. Consequently, students who did not secure a seat in the first round, or those wishing to participate in the second round in hopes of a better college or course, are gearing up for the process. According to the MCC schedule, the registration and fee payment process for Round 2 will begin on September 3, 2026. Candidates will be able to apply until September 8, 2026. Meanwhile, the college and course selection process—known as 'choice filling'—will take place from September 3 to September 9.

Seat Allotment Result to be Declared on September 11
After the completion of registration and choice filling, the MCC will conduct the seat allotment process on September 9 and 10. Subsequently, the Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on September 11, 2026.

Candidates allotted a seat must complete the reporting and admission formalities at their respective medical colleges between September 12 and September 18, 2026. Following this, document verification for the participating candidates will be conducted on September 19.

Candidates can apply for Round 2 by visiting the official MCC website. During the application process, candidates are required to provide necessary details, pay the counselling fee, and select their preferred colleges and courses.

Points to Consider During Choice Filling
The MCC has advised candidates to thoroughly review the Round 2 seat matrix before filling in their choices. Colleges and courses should be selected based on the candidate's order of priority.

Additionally, locking the choices within the stipulated timeframe is crucial. If a candidate fails to lock their choices, the counselling system will automatically lock them once the deadline expires. No changes will be possible after the choice-locking deadline has passed. Final seat allotment will be based on the preferences submitted by the candidate, seat availability, and the applicable counseling rules.
