NEET UG Counselling 2024 614 Seats Added in Round 2: Additional seats have been added in NEET UG counseling round two. The Medical Counselling Committee has added a total of 614 seats in the second round. Now candidates can take admission in MBBS and MDS courses on these many more seats. Also know that registration and choice filling for the second round of counselling is still going on. It started on 5th September.

The link to apply for the second round of NEET UG Counselling 2024 is still open. The last date to fill out the form is 10 September 2024. Registration and choice filling for counseling can be done till this date. To do this, you have to visit the official website of MCC, whose address is – mcc.nic.in.
On which day will the result come
The results of the second round of NEET UG counseling will be declared on 13 September. After this, the selected candidates will have to report to the allotted college. This work has to be done within seven days of the release of the result. According to which college has been allotted to which candidate, he will have to report to his college between 14 to 20 September 2024.
Which college got additional seats
These 614 additional MBBS and BDS seats have been allotted to these colleges. Government Medical College, Thalarasinghi Village, Paderu, Andhra Pradesh, Government Medical College, Nashik, Maharashtra, Malla Reddy Dental College for Women, Hyderabad, Telangana, Malla Reddy Institute of Dental Sciences, Hyderabad, Telangana, Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, Telangana, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women, Hyderabad.
Who got how many seats
Of the 614 seats added by MCC, most have been allotted to Telangana. If we talk separately, 7 seats have been allotted to medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh, 7 seats to four colleges of Maharashtra and 600 seats have been allotted to 8 colleges of Telangana. Also, know that 50% of the seats in Telangana are for women only.
Submit the choice within the time limit
Candidates have to fill their order of preference i.e. which college you keep as your first choice and which college after that. Seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their choice. However, it also depends on many other factors like the candidate's rank, category, available seats, etc.
There will be two more rounds
MCC will conduct two more rounds for 15% all India seats. There are four rounds in total and the process for the second round is underway. Keep checking the official website from time to time for updates.
