NEET UG Counseling 2025 Schedule: NEET UG counseling schedule released for admission in MBBS, register from this date..

The Medical Counseling Committee i.e., MCC, has released the complete schedule of counseling for admission in MBBS and BDS. According to the schedule, students who have passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) this year will be able to register for the counseling process from July 21, 2025, i.e., from this day, the registration window will open on the official website of MCC. The official schedule of the counseling process is available at mcc.nic.in. This year, the NEET UG result was released on June 14.
NEET UG counseling is mainly conducted in four rounds. If seats remain vacant even after the fourth round, then MCC conducts a special stray vacancy round for the candidates. However, it rarely happens that seats remain vacant in any medical college.

Who can apply?
Only candidates who have cleared the NEET UG 2025 exam can get admission under:
15% All India Quota (AIQ)
100% seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, ESIC
Institutional quota through MCC
IP quota in AFMC, ESIC, and selected central/university seats
Even though the counselling is completely online till seat allocation, after that, candidates will have to physically report to the allotted colleges for verification and confirmation of admission.
How to register online?
First of all, visit the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in.
Then click on the UG Medical Counselling section.
Then register/log in using NEET credentials.
Now, pay the processing fee and complete your application form.
Then upload your required documents (NEET scorecard, ID proof, category certificate, etc.).
After that, fill in the college and course options and lock them.
Now, download the confirmation page.

How many seats will be filled for admission?
There are a total of 1,18,190 MBBS seats in 780 medical colleges in the country, for which admission is to be done. Karnataka has the highest number of MBBS seats (12,545) followed by Uttar Pradesh with 12,475 seats. At the same time, there are 12,050 seats in Tamil Nadu and 11,846 seats in Maharashtra, while there are 9,040 seats in Telangana, 7,250 seats in Gujarat, 6,785 seats in Andhra Pradesh, 6476 seats in Rajasthan, 5676 seats in West Bengal, 5200 seats in Madhya Pradesh, 4905 seats in Kerala, 2995 seats in Bihar, 2185 seats in Haryana, 1850 seats in Punjab and 1497 seats in the capital Delhi.
