NEET UG 2026: Window reopened for NEET UG fee refund; here’s how to apply..
NEET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the facility for bank account verification and corrections for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. This provides eligible candidates with another opportunity to smoothly complete the application fee refund process. Candidates can now submit, verify, or modify their bank account details via the official NEET portal (neet.nta.nic.in) until June 30, 2026.
The initiative aims to assist candidates who had previously provided incorrect banking details or were unable to complete the verification process within the stipulated timeframe.
To utilize the refund-related correction facility, candidates must log in using their application number and password. After logging in, they must complete the authentication process using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number and email address. Only after successful verification will candidates be able to confirm or update their banking details for the refund process.
Who can apply?
This facility has been reintroduced following the initial correction window provided by the NTA. According to the NTA, this new opportunity is intended for candidates who may have faced difficulties during the earlier verification phase. The refund verification process has garnered significant attention from candidates, especially after the agency announced the new deadline via its official social media channels. Many candidates raised questions regarding whether those who had already completed the verification process and submitted their bank details would need to repeat the procedure. Others sought clarification on whether a revisit to the portal is necessary if their banking details had already been successfully verified.
