NEET UG 2026: Read this advisory carefully before registering to avoid making any mistakes..
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an advisory for candidates appearing for the NEET-UG 2026 examination. This advisory has been released before the start of registration. This information has been issued by the NTA to prevent any difficulties for students in the future.
The NTA has clearly stated that all candidates who wish to participate in the NEET UG 2026 exam should first ensure that their Aadhaar card details are correct. Additionally, candidates belonging to the PwD (Persons with Disabilities) category and those belonging to reserved categories should ensure that their certificates and all necessary documents are in order. The agency has appealed to all candidates to check and verify their documents promptly.
Important Information Regarding Aadhaar Card
The NTA has clarified that the information filled in the NEET UG 2026 application form and the information on the Aadhaar card must be exactly the same. Candidates' names, dates of birth, gender, photographs, and addresses on their Aadhaar cards must be completely accurate. The details on the Aadhaar card are what you must fill in the NEET UG 2026 registration form.
Biometric Information
If any information, such as name, date of birth, gender, photograph, or address, is found to be incorrect, candidates should get it corrected as soon as possible. Aadhaar-related information can be updated on the official UIDAI website uidai.gov.in or at the nearest Aadhaar enrollment/update center. The NTA has stated in the advisory that having correct Aadhaar details will prevent application form cancellation, problems with document verification, or difficulties in the further admission process.
Special Advice for PwD Candidates
PwD candidates are advised to use their Unique Disability ID (UDID) card only if it is valid, updated, and renewed. An invalid or outdated card may cause problems during document verification.
Instructions Regarding Certificates
Candidates applying under reserved categories (such as EWS and OBC-NCL) have been advised to ensure that their category certificates are valid and issued according to the rules. They are advised to keep all necessary certificates ready and updated before applying. The NTA has also stated that the NEET UG 2026 registration process and exam dates will be announced soon.
