The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination. This exam is scheduled to be held on June 21. Candidates appearing for the re-examination can download their admit cards from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates must visit the official NEET website and click on the 'Admit Card for NEET (UG)' link displayed at the top. Next, they need to select the option 'Admit Card for NEET (UG) – 2026 Re-examination'. Finally, the admit card can be downloaded after logging in by entering the application number, password, and captcha code.

**Request to verify bank account details before downloading the admit card**
The NTA has also urged candidates to verify their bank account details before downloading the admit card. The agency noted that many students had previously provided incorrect or incomplete bank account information, which could lead to issues with fee refunds. A special window has been opened for such students to confirm and correct their bank account details so that the refund can be processed to the correct account.

**Several student-friendly measures introduced following the paper leak**
It is worth noting that the original NEET-UG 2026 exam, held on May 3, was cancelled due to a question paper leak. Investigations revealed that the question paper had reached some candidates prior to the exam. Consequently, a decision was made to conduct a re-examination. The NTA has also implemented new, student-friendly rules for the re-examination. The exam will now be conducted in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. An additional 15 minutes have been added to the exam duration to allow sufficient time for signing attendance sheets and completing other formalities.

**Increased number of pages for rough work**
Additionally, the number of pages allocated for rough work in the question paper booklet has been increased; students will now receive a total of four extra pages. Two pages will be provided at the beginning and two at the end. This arrangement has been made specifically to accommodate left-handed students. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has urged students to maintain their confidence and prepare for the exam with full dedication. The NTA states that these new measures will make the examination process more transparent, convenient, and student-friendly.
