NTA: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued important instructions for candidates preparing for NEET UG 2026. The NTA has advised all candidates to update their Aadhaar card, UDID, and category certificate information before the registration process begins.

According to the agency, ensuring that the document information is accurate beforehand will prevent any discrepancies, complaints, or application rejections during the NEET UG application process. Candidates are advised to update all necessary documents promptly.

Check Aadhaar Card Information Before Applying
Before applying for NEET UG 2026, candidates must ensure that all the information on their Aadhaar card is correct and up-to-date. The Aadhaar card should clearly display the name, date of birth, gender, photograph, address, and biometric information where applicable. If there are any errors in the Aadhaar card, candidates can correct them in time by visiting the UIDAI website.

UDID and Category Certificates Must Also Be Valid
For candidates with disabilities, it is essential that their UDID card is valid and up-to-date.  Similarly, candidates belonging to the EWS, SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories must also keep their category certificates updated. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official NTA website for accurate and up-to-date information related to NEET UG 2026.
