NEET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important advisory and guidelines for candidates regarding NEET UG 2026 registration. In this advisory, the NTA has clarified that before the application process begins, candidates should carefully check all the information associated with their Aadhaar card and ensure that the Aadhaar is completely valid, updated, and contains correct details.
According to the NTA, the candidate's Aadhaar card must have the correct spelling of the name, date of birth, gender, recent photograph, complete address, and biometric details where required. Any kind of error or incomplete information may cause problems during the application process, which could affect the candidate's registration.
Furthermore, the NTA has also clarified that candidates must possess a valid and renewed Aadhaar card. Candidates who have recently made any changes to their Aadhaar should ensure that the update has been successfully recorded in the UIDAI records.
Category Certificate Must Be Updated
The agency has also instructed that the category certificate (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc.) must be completely valid and updated. Applications based on old or invalid certificates may be rejected later. Similarly, it has been stated that Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) candidates must have a valid and updated UDID card.
