NEET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination on June 21, 2026, at various centers across the country. Specific guidelines regarding the dress code and permissible items have been issued for all candidates appearing for the exam. Candidates are advised to carefully read these rules beforehand to avoid any inconvenience.

**Items to Carry and Wear**
Candidates may carry a transparent water bottle to the NEET (UG) 2026 examination. Keeping the admit card in a transparent plastic pouch to protect it from rain or damage is permitted. Items associated with religious beliefs—such as *Kalava* (sacred thread), turbans, or hijabs—are allowed; however, candidates must arrive at the center early to undergo the necessary security checks. While wearing light clothing is recommended, full-sleeved or woolen garments may be worn if required.

**Prohibited Items in the Examination Hall**
Candidates are advised to wear slippers or low-heeled shoes. Wearing high-heeled shoes may lead to additional scrutiny. Adherence to the dress code at the examination center is mandatory to ensure a smooth security check process.

Carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, or any other electronic gadgets into the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Additionally, metal objects, large belt buckles, heavy jewelry, and other accessories are banned. All candidates will undergo a thorough frisking process before entry; therefore, arriving at the examination center on time is essential. For any information or issues related to the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination, candidates can contact the NTA Helpdesk at 011-40759000 or 011-69227700, or send an email to neetug2026@nta.ac.in. Candidates may use these channels for any information or assistance.
