NEET UG 2026: Candidates with Disabilities Must Submit Scribe Details; Portal Now Open—Deadline April 21..

NEET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced a significant facility for candidates with Disabilities (PwD) and Candidates with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) appearing for the NEET UG 2026 examination. The agency has opened its official portal, allowing these candidates to enter the details of their Scribes (writers). Interested candidates can complete this process by visiting the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

To enter their Scribe details, candidates must use their login credentials, such as their Application Number and Password. The NTA has clarified that this portal will remain accessible to candidates with Disabilities and Benchmark Disabilities until April 21, 2026. Therefore, eligible candidates are advised to submit their information within the stipulated deadline.

When will the NEET UG 2026 Exam be held?
The NTA is scheduled to conduct the NEET UG 2026 examination on May 3, 2026. The exam will be held in a pen-and-paper mode. The examination timing has been set from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This examination is conducted for admission into medical courses related to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH disciplines.

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The NEET UG 2026 question paper will comprise a total of 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). These questions will be drawn from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The entire examination will carry a total weightage of 720 marks.

Candidates can enter their Scribe details by following the simple steps outlined below:

First, visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in.
On the homepage, click on the 'Register Scribe Details' link.
A new page will open.
Enter your Application Number and Password in the designated fields.
Click on the 'Login' button to proceed and complete the rest of the process.
