NEET UG 2025 Result: What is the latest update on NEET UG result? Know when counseling will start..

NEET UG 2025 exam was conducted on 4th May, in which more than 20 lakh candidates appeared. National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has also released its provisional answer key along with the OMR sheet. Candidates who appeared in the exam can register their objection on this answer key till 5th June. After the objection window closes, NTA will examine the objections and release the final answer key and result based on the same.
In the notification issued by NTA initially for NEET UG, it was told that NEET UG 2025 results could be declared on 14th June. However, in the meantime, it is also worth noting that some cases related to the examination are also going on in the Madhya Pradesh High Court, in which a demand has been made to conduct the examination again.
How can you see the result?
To check NEET UG 2025 results, visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in or exam.nta.ac.in/NEET.
Then click on the link 'NEET UG 2025 Result' on the homepage.
After that enter the required login details, such as application number, date of birth, and security pin.
Now the result and merit list will appear on the screen.
Then download your scorecard and take a printout of it for further need.
The exam was for 720 marks.
To pass the NEET UG exam, candidates have to get the required cut-off marks, which are determined based on percentile. This year the exam was conducted for a total of 720 marks. Looking at the trends of last year and the difficulty level of the exam this year, the cut-off is expected to decrease slightly. According to the marking scheme, students will be given four marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted as negative marks for each wrong answer.
Counseling will start in July
After NEET UG Result 2025, counseling for admission will start from July. MCC (Medical Counseling Committee) will conduct counseling for 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) and state governments will conduct counseling for 85 percent state quota.
