NEET UG 2025 Counseling Important Date

1. Start of registration - Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has started registration for Round-1 counseling from 21 July 2025.

2. Last date of registration - Candidates can register online by visiting mcc.nic.in till 28 July 2025.

3. Start of filling college choice - Candidates can start filling their preferred medical/dental colleges and courses as online options from 22 July 2025.

4. Last date for locking choices - The option to lock the choice will be available from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on 28 July 2025.

5. Seat Allotment Process - MCC will complete the process of allotment of seats on July 29 and 30 on the basis of options filled by the candidates.

6. Seat Allotment Result - The seat allotment result of Round-1 will be released on mcc.nic.in on July 31, 2025.

7. Reporting in College - Those who have been allotted a college can go to the respective college from August 1 to August 6, 2025 and complete the process of document verification and admission.

Who is the counseling for?

This counseling is for all those students who have qualified NEET UG 2025 and want to take admission in MBBS, BDS or B.Sc Nursing course in government or central medical colleges of the country. This includes 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) government medical seats, 100 percent seats of institutions like AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, ESIC, JMI and seats of all central and deemed universities.

How many rounds will there be in total?

This time NEET UG counseling will be done in four rounds, in which Round 1 will be the first opportunity and the maximum number of options are available in it. Round 2: Students who did not participate in the first round or want to upgrade can participate in it. Round 3 i.e. Mop-up Round: In this, there is an opportunity to fill the remaining seats. Last comes the Stray Vacancy Round. In this, the remaining seats are given to those candidates who could not get a seat in any of the earlier rounds. At the same time, the process is the same in every round, registration, fees, filling the choice of college and course, locking the choice, seat allotment, college reporting and document verification.

10th and 12th Marksheet and Certificate

Birth Certificate

8 Passport Size Photos (same as the one uploaded in the NEET form)

Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License or Passport

Provisional Seat Allotment Letter

Cast Certificate

Medical Fitness Certificate

How to register?

1. First of all go to moc.nic.in website.

2. Open the UG Medical Counseling section.

3. Click on the New Registration button there.

4. Now fill in the required details like your NEET UG 2025 roll number, application number, mobile number etc.

5. Then pay the registration fee and security fee online, you can do this through debit card, net banking etc.

6. After the registration is complete, fill the choice of college and course.

7. Lock the choice on the due date and submit.

8. The registration fee is Rs 1,000 for General / EWS (AIQ), and the refundable security fee is Rs 10,000. Along with this, SC, ST, OBC and PwD registration fee is Rs 500 and the refundable security fee is Rs 5000. Whereas for Deemed University, the registration fee is Rs 5000 and the refundable security fee is Rs 2,00,000.
