NEET PG 2025: The counseling process for admission to postgraduate medical seats is underway. In this regard, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has provided significant relief to candidates. The MCC has extended the last date for choice filling for Round 2 of NEET PG 2025.  Previously, the deadline for choice filling was today, December 9th. Now, the MCC has extended the deadline to December 12, 2025.

This decision is crucial for candidates who want to carefully choose their preferred medical colleges and specializations.

Choice filling is a crucial step in the counseling process, where candidates create a list of colleges and courses they wish to pursue based on their rank and eligibility. Candidates are advised to fill their choices in order of preference, meaning the college or subject they want most should be placed at the top of the list.

After filling in the choices, it is mandatory to lock them within the stipulated time frame. If candidates do not lock their choices, their last filled choices will be automatically locked. The MCC has warned candidates not to wait until the last date.
