NEET PG 2025: Big news has arrived for millions of students preparing for postgraduate medical studies. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional seat allotment results for the first round of NEET PG 2025 counseling. Students who participated in the counseling can check their results by visiting the official website – mcc.nic.in. A total of 26,889 students were allotted medical and dental PG seats in the first round.

Over 200,000 students appeared for the NEET PG exam this year, of which approximately 128,116 qualified. The MCC administers the admission process for 50 percent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government, deemed, and private medical colleges.

When will those who received a seat in Round 1 be required to report?

Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to their allotted college between November 21 and November 27, 2025. Students must carry all required documents as per MCC guidelines during reporting.

The final seat allotment list for Round 1 was released by MCC on November 22, 2025. Candidates who are satisfied with their allotment can then freeze their seat and complete the joining process.
