NEET PG 2025 exam will be conducted in a single shift at various centers fixed across the country. While hearing the petition challenging the conduct of the examination in two shifts, today, on May 30, the Supreme Court ruled to conduct the exam in one shift. The exam will be conducted on June 15 in CBT mode. Earlier, the schedule for conducting the exam in two shifts was released.

The Supreme Court on Friday directed the National Board of Examination not to conduct the NEET PG 2025 exam in two shifts, but to ensure in one shift. The court directed the NBE to make arrangements to conduct the exam in a single shift while ensuring transparency. The court said that there is still time left to make the necessary arrangements for the examination to be held on June 15. While hearing the petition, the apex court said that the body still had enough time to identify the centers.

The issue related to the second relief claim will be considered after the examination is over. Another argument made on behalf of the respondents is that even if the examination body refers to identifying more centers, it may require more time. This may result in a delay in conducting the examination and all the consequential counseling and admission etc. may be delayed, which will not be by the timelines prescribed by this court. The court said that this argument was also rejected.
