NEET UG 2026: The country's largest medical entrance examination, NEET UG 2026, was successfully conducted on May 3. Organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA), this examination witnessed the participation of a massive number of candidates this time around. Now that the exam has concluded, students are most eagerly awaiting the release of the answer key and the results. Let's find out when the NEET results are likely to be announced.

When Will the Answer Key Be Released?

Last year, the answer key for the NEET examination was released approximately one month after the exam was held. Consequently, it is expected that this year as well, the provisional answer key will be released by the end of May or by the first week of June.

Once the answer key is released, candidates will be able to cross-check their answers; furthermore, if they have any objections regarding a specific question, they will be able to challenge it within the stipulated timeframe. Subsequently, the NTA will release the final answer key, based on which the final results will be prepared.

96.92% Attendance Recorded in NEET UG Exam

Approximately 2,275,011 candidates had registered for the NEET UG examination. Out of these, 2,205,035 students actually appeared for the exam. This year, an attendance rate of 96.92% was recorded for the NEET UG examination.

The difficulty level of the question paper this year was moderate; therefore, the cutoff scores are likely to remain in the same range as last year. However, a clear picture regarding the official cutoff scores and results will emerge only after they are officially declared by the NTA. Students are advised to keep a close watch on the NTA's official website for the latest updates and to refrain from paying heed to any rumors.
