Under the new system, once OTR is completed, candidates will not need to register repeatedly. Upon completion of OTR, the candidate will receive a user ID and password.

Subsequently, candidates can log in to the BPSC website using this user ID and password to initiate the TRE-4 application process. According to the cyber expert, the application process is entirely online; generally, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete the application after finishing the OTR. In the final stage of the application, candidates must provide the required information and documents, including a live photograph.

Sonu Kumar stated that the application fee for candidates from Bihar is ₹100. However, candidates who do not complete the necessary process using their Aadhaar card may be required to pay an additional fee of ₹200 for biometric verification. Consequently, candidates with even basic knowledge of filling out online forms can apply from home using their mobile phones or laptops.

However, it is crucial to thoroughly verify all information before submitting the form to avoid any complications later due to errors. Cyber ​​expert Sonu Kumar from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, stated that the application process following OTR is not very complex. Candidates can fill out the form from the comfort of their homes—provided they have the correct information and necessary documents—thereby saving the extra cost of visiting a cyber café.
