NCET Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the final answer key for NCET 2026 on June 4, 2026. Important information and documents for candidates who appeared for this examination will soon be made available on the official website. Students' scores and the merit list will be prepared solely based on this final answer key.

When was the NCET 2026 examination held?
The examination was conducted in a computer-based mode on April 17 and 18. The exam was held across two shifts—from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM—with approximately 92,776 candidates appearing for it.

What are the rules of the marking scheme?
The NCET 2026 examination consisted of a total of 160 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), carrying a maximum aggregate score of 640 marks. According to the marking scheme, 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer, while 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. No marks are deducted for questions that are left unattempted.

This examination is conducted on behalf of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Through this exam, candidates gain admission to the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), which is offered at Central and State Universities, as well as at IITs, NITs, and other government institutions.

Now, log in by entering your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.
