Amidst the rapidly evolving digital landscape in education, NCERT has launched a new and beneficial initiative for students. To make subjects like mathematics easier, more engaging, and understandable, NCERT has announced an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based interactive online program. This four-day training program will help students better understand mathematical concepts through modern digital tools. Importantly, this program is completely free, and students across the country can access it online from their homes.

A New Initiative for Learning Math with the Help of AI
This online program, organized by NCERT, will run from January 12 to 15, 2026.  The program will be broadcast live every day from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Its main objective is to strengthen students' mathematical skills and make the learning process more interactive. Many students find math difficult today, and this AI-based initiative aims to change their perception and understanding.

Students can watch this program on NCERT's official YouTube channel @NCERTOFFICIAL and PM e-Vidya channels. It will also be broadcast on DD Free Dish and Jio TV for students in grades 6 to 12. NCERT shared this information on the social media platform X, urging students and teachers to participate.

This program will focus on explaining mathematics in simple language through digital tools, artificial intelligence, and visual content. This will not only improve students' understanding but also boost their confidence.

What will students learn in these four days?
Each day of this four-day interactive program will focus on a specific topic. On the first day, Monday, January 12, 2026, the discussion will revolve around identifying students' misconceptions and learning outcomes with the help of AI.

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, information will be provided on developing diagnostic assessments to understand learning gaps. Following this, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the focus will be on creating engaging and useful visual content for conceptual improvement. On the final day, Thursday, January 15, 2026, differentiated instruction – that is, different strategies for students with varying needs – will be discussed through a digital platform. Overall, this program can prove extremely beneficial for both students and teachers.
