CBSE board advisory: CBSE has issued an important advisory to all its schools, stating that counterfeit and low-quality NCERT books are being sold rampantly in the market. These books are available at low prices but are full of printing errors and content errors. This can negatively impact children's studies. The board has asked schools to advise parents and students to purchase only genuine books.

Schools should also be vigilant.
CBSE has clearly instructed that if schools purchase books themselves, they should only purchase them from sources authorized by the board or NCERT. Do not purchase books from local shops or unknown sellers. Fake books can misinform children and harm them in exams.

Where to Buy Genuine NCERT Books
Genuine books can only be purchased from these certified sources: first, NCERT's Regional Production and Distribution Centers (RPDCs) and second, from authorized sellers listed on NCERT's official website, www.ncert.nic.in. Third, order it at home through the NCERT portal's postal delivery service. Fourth, order from NCERT's official Amazon storefront, amazon.in/NCERT. Books from these locations will be 100% genuine and accurate.
