National Scholarship 2025: Exam on 9th November, Apply by 24th September

The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2025 invites applications from students studying in class 8 in government, government-aided, and local body schools. This scholarship aims to support economically weaker but meritorious students to continue their education.

Note: Applications sent via post or any other means will not be accepted. There is no application fee for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the NMMS 2025, candidates must meet the following conditions:

1. Schooling: Currently enrolled in class 8 (academic year 2025-26) at a government, government-aided, or local body school.

2. Academic Performance: Must have secured at least 55% marks in class 7 (2024-25 session). For SC/ST students, the minimum requirement is 50% marks.

3. Parental Income: Total annual income of parents should not exceed ₹3,50,000.

Who is Not Eligible

Students studying in private schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV), Navodaya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, or other residential schools are not eligible for this scholarship.

Required Documents

Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents while applying:

• Income Certificate

• Aadhaar Card

• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

• Disability Certificate (if applicable)

Applications without the required documents will be considered incomplete and rejected.
