The Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, has announced recruitment for 20 internship positions under its Comprehensive Internship Program and is inviting applications from eligible candidates. This internship program is designed for students studying in colleges and universities. The duration of the internship will be 6 months. Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000.

The objective of this initiative is to provide practical experience to students and develop trained human resources in the fields of sports administration, management, and sports science.

Under this program, interns will get the opportunity to work in areas such as sports administration, event management, sports science, anti-doping, athlete support, and policy implementation.
Comprehensive Internship Program
Taking a significant step towards strengthening India's sports ecosystem, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) has launched the Comprehensive Internship Programme.

This internship program is designed for students studying in colleges and universities. Under this program, interns will get the opportunity to work in areas such as sports administration, event management, sports science, anti-doping, athlete support, and policy implementation.

What will the interns do?
Special emphasis will be placed on sports science research, lab testing, data analytics, and scientific athlete support. Interns working at the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) will assist in anti-doping awareness, legal compliance, and case management, while those selected at NDTL will gain experience in advanced lab procedures, including sample analysis and research.
